Tim Verghese, writer for Nebraska Rivals, said that his co-worker Steve Merritt was at the Omaha airport this morning to get on a flight to go to Chicago where he saw Micah Mazzccua also at the airport but getting on a flight to San Francisco.
For those of you that do not know, Micah Mazzccua was the starting guard for Nebraska at the beginning of the season but then hasn’t played since and was because of coaches decision which means it wasn’t an injury.
There have been hopes that he was working to get back into the good graces of the staff and Matt Rhule even indicated that he was moving in that direction.
