I understand that we can debate about whether John Butler can be considered a Big Boy coaching staff but as Matt Rhule has said many times — Nebraska will always have a good defense as long as Rhule is the coach. He’s a defensive guy.
On the other hand, it is not debatable that with the additions of Dana Holgorsen as offensive coordinator and Mike Ekeler as special teams coordinator that it feels like Nebraska football has finally taken steps into big boy college football.
