Four Nebraska track and field student-athletes garnered All-America honors for the 2020 NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field season the USTFCCCA announced on Tuesday. The Huskers named All-Americans were George Kusche, Alencar Pereira, Burger Lambrechts Jr. and Kristina Insingo.
Normal policies dictate that All-America honors are awarded based on classifications on performance at the NCAA Championships, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and cancellation of the NCAA Indoor Championships, new criteria was adopted for the 2020 indoor season. The criteria states that based on the post-medical scratches startlist for the NCAA Indoor Championships posted on Wednesday, March 11, all student-athletes listed on the startlist for the anticipated event will be given All-America honors.
