Dowdell played in six games last season, rushing 17 times for 93 yards, scoring one touchdown. He will have three years left to play at Nebraska.
Dowdell was the #9 running back nationally, ranked a four-star recruit out of Picayune, Mississippi in the 2023 recruiting class, according to 247.
