Former Nebraska football star looking likely looking for new NFL home

Former Nebraska football wide receiver Niles Paul has managed to make himself a valuable asset for the Washington Redskins. First drafted in the fifth round, Paul has transitioned from wide receiver to tight end, to a kind of H-Back position.

While he didn’t do much in his rookie season, he started to show his worth in his second year. That year, he caught eight passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.

Two years later he had his best season, catching 39 passes for 507 yards and a touchdown. The last two years he’s had injury problems and production problems.
