The Nebraska Cornhuskers have been fighting with Wide Receiver injuries this whole Fall Camp. On Wednesday, it took another hit.
The Nebraska AD just released this information:
Nebraska Head Coach Mike Riley announced Wednesday that sophomore wide receiver De’Mornay Pierson-El suffered a foot injury in Tuesday’s practice and will be sidelined for six to eight weeks. Riley also confirmed that freshman receiver Lavan Alston will be out for the season after suffering a knee injury during Tuesday’s practice.
That is a big issue to Nebraska's wideout problems, but a BIGGER wrench to the Punt Returning danger that Pierson-El has given Nebraska from last year.
