Nebraska’s Drew Brown, Nick Gates, Chris Jones, Joshua Kalu and Tanner Lee were among the 336 players who received invitations to the NFL Combine on Tuesday. The combine is scheduled for Feb. 27 to March 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium on Indianapolis, Ind.
The five Huskers selected for the 2018 combine are the most invitees to a combine since 2011 when NU sent nine players. Lee will be the first Husker quarterback to participate since 2008, when Sam Keller attended. Lee started all 12 games for the Huskers last season and threw for 23 touchdowns and 3,143 yards, completing 57 percent of his passes.
