I’ll be the first to say that in college football, there’s no such thing as a moral victory.
Until there is.
What we witnessed Saturday night from Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin was nothing short of a moral victory. The offense busted its ass all game, and while there were hiccups, penalties, and errors, Big Red put up 518 yards of offense against the number-16 Badgers. And one Husker put his name in two record books.
Sophomore JD Spielman topped his own record for receiving yards in a single game, finishing with 209 yards on nine catches.
