Lincoln, Neb. --- The Nebraska football team practiced in Memorial Stadium for two hours in full pads on Saturday afternoon, scrimmaging for the majority of the practice.
Mike Riley spoke to the media after practice to announce players receiving scholarships and discuss his thoughts on the scrimmage. He started by mentioning how he saw the quarterbacks progress.
“We’ve just got to get going, get the right stuff and consolidate what we’re doing, but it was kind of sloppy,” Riley said. “And once we got to playing football, run, pass, mix it all in, it was a pretty good scrimmage and those guys did pretty well.
