Nebraska’s quest for speed and playmaking ability took another step forward Thursday.
Explosive athlete Miles Jones announced his verbal commitment to the program via Twitter, flipping from Vanderbilt for the chance to play in Scott Frost’s offense.
"I committed to Nebraska because the offense is creative enough for my skill set and this feels like home to me," he said in a video announcing his decision. "We’re going to do big things over there."
Jones, a four-star prospect according to Rivals and a three-star by 247Sports’ rankings, is the type of dynamic athlete Frost, offensive coordinator Troy Walters and running backs coach Ryan Held want to be able to line up in space and get the ball to.
