The Nebraska men's basketball team announced Friday that Elkhorn South standout Justin Costello will joined the program as a walk-on.
Costello, a 6-foot-1 guard, was a four-year starter for the Storm and received Class B all-state first-team honors as a senior. He averaged 18.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, and made 67 three-points last season. That included a 39-point game against Lincoln Southwest.
"We are thrilled to add Justin to our program," Nebraska Coach Tim Miles said. "He is an outstanding young man, and he has talent that can help the Huskers on the floor.
