1. In the midst of our long conversation earlier this week, Bill Moos paused and said:
Moos has been Nebraska’s athletic director since October. Although he’s learned plenty about the Husker athletic landscape during the ensuing seven months, there still are moments that captivate and surprise him. This particular moment, or series of moments, had to with the NU football walk-on program, and the pride it generates.
2. As Nebraska football players began their official offseason conditioning program this week, a recent quote from running backs coach Ryan Held came to mind.
