Shooting the bull with BTN analyst Gerry DiNardo recently, I asked him how he thinks the seven-team Big Ten West Division stacks up. DiNardo wanted to do more research before discussing it at length. But he did say he would start any evaluation by analyzing two key areas for each team: Offensive line and crossover schedule (which three teams from the East it faces).
So, let's take a look at those factors, while adding in the overall number of returning starters on offense and defense.
