Yes, Lambrecht played college football at Concordia in Seward, then cut his business teeth in the healthcare industry. Now, he runs the day-to-day show in the football department at Memorial Stadium. The former teammates talked for years about teaming up, and Frost hired Lambrecht to be a point person as soon as he got the job at Central Florida in 2016.
“Everybody does things their own way, but I think it’s a mistake to have a (director of football operations) that wants to be a coach,” Frost said.
