The Huskers have seen half of their six-man 2018 defensive back class leave the school already — Smith, Cam’ron Jones and the shortly lived Will Jackson era — while junior Deontai Williams, sophomore Cam Taylor and redshirt freshman Braxton Clark remain.
2. Speaking of the 2018 class, there’s already been some pretty serious attrition. Remember, Scott Frost and company put together a top-25 rated class despite having two months between getting hired to Nebraska and the February signing date.
The Huskers have only 15 graduating seniors, but currently stand at 81 scholarship players for 2019 (with the potential to add one more still), so add four spots for current number of 19.
