Let's take a drive, and begin with the Blackshirts.
1. Nebraska's defense gave up 274 yards to Fresno State during Saturday's 43-10 win at Memorial Stadium, and the Blackshirts seemed to settle in as the game progressed, Nebraska defensive coordinator Mark Banker said.
The Huskers gave up just 128 yards in the second half (3.7 yards per play).
Nebraska coach Mike Riley said he was happy with how well the defenders ran toward the ball. After reviewing the film, Banker was happy, as well.
"Day 1, we tell them the same thing," Baker said Tuesday.
