Following the lead of other college volleyball programs, and also the Nebraska football team, Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook added some oomph to the program’s summer camps for middle school and high school players.
He’s calling this week’s session the dream team camp, and he brought in one of the program’s great recruiting tools for Sunday’s opening day of the camp, having ex-Husker Jordan Larson speak to a group of the best players at the camp. Larson is one of the most successful and recognizable professional players in the world, and has been on U.S. teams that have won silver and bronze medals at the two most recent Olympic Games.
