Drake handed Nebraska its 11th straight loss in softball, winning 7-1 in the opening game of a doubleheader Tuesday at Bowlin Stadium.
Drake (17-13) scored three runs in the third inning and four in the sixth, and outhit Nebraska 10-2. The Huskers committed four errors.
Samantha Owen's home run, her third of the season, got the Huskers (10-17) on the board in the fourth inning. Lindsey Walljasper singled for the only other Nebraska hit.
Drake's Nicole Newman struck out 14 Huskers in a complete game. Taryn Pena homered and drove in three runs.
