Doors keep opening for Burke's Henrich, even as he tries to narrow college choice down

You know the saying about best-laid plans and the frequency with which they go awry.

Nick Henrich has a little bit of that going on this spring, although not in a negative way. Just the opposite, in fact.

Henrich, the touted Class of 2019 linebacker prospect from Omaha Burke, set out on a tour of schools this spring with the thought that he would see more than a half-dozen schools and then begin to narrow down his options from there.

Henrich’s summer schedule, though, is still up in the air. He and his family are in the process of sorting out any additional visits that he’ll take — he didn’t have any set in stone as of Thursday evening — and after those get sorted out, he’ll decide whether he’ll be attending any camps such as NU’s Friday Night Lights dates on June 15 and 22.
