Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne will be inducted into the fourth hall class Sept. 7, the day before the Nebraska-Colorado football game.
Joining the two coaches are five former athletes who boasted historic accomplishments: a multi-Gold Glover and World Series champion, a Heisman Trophy winner, a four-time volleyball All-American, an Olympic gymnast and a strikeout machine.
Devaney was a prominent figure at Nebraska for 35 years, first as head football coach (1962-72), and later as athletic director (1967-93). Devaney led the Huskers to eight conference titles and two national championship.
He handed the reins to Osborne, who led the Huskers to 13 conference championships and national titles in 1994, 1995 and 1997 before retiring.
