Defensive Newcomers Impressing Early

Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team continued its 2015 Fall Camp Saturday night, as the Huskers practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice fields for about two hours in half pads (helmets and shoulder pads).

Defensive Coordinator Mark Banker met with media following practice, as Coach Banker mentioned that despite not having contact in practice so far during fall camp, the Blackshirts have been really competing well.

“The one thing we have had a good opportunity to do without the pads is personnel, we have got a pretty good read on probably about two or three situations going on with guys in rotations,” Banker said.
