Nebraska great Tony Davis will join the Sugar Bowl Hall of Fame this weekend, as the former Husker running back is part of the bowl's fourth class of inductees. This year's class will be added as part of the festivities surrounding the 88th Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
Davis was the Most Valuable Player of the 1974 Sugar Bowl, helping Coach Tom Osborne's Huskers to a 13-10 victory over Florida. Davis rushed for 126 yards on 17 carries against the Gators, including 11 times for 110 yards in the final 20 minutes, as Nebraska rallied for a 10-0 deficit.
