Eleanor Dale scored two goals in her debut at Barbara Hibner Soccer Stadium as the Huskers defeated Purdue, 2-1, on Thursday afternoon in the first home game of the season.
The freshman recorded her first goal of her Husker career in the 12th minute of the match, heading in a goal line pass across the box from Reagan Raabe. Raabe's assist is her first of her career.
In the second half, Dale found the back of the net again, this time off a cross from Ashley Zugay. Getting over a Boilermaker defender, she headed the ball into the bottom-right corner of the goal for the Huskers' second score on the day.
