After a lot of optimism and positive hype coming into the season, heading into their first conference game of the season, a lot of uncertainty surrounded the Nebraska Cornhusker baseball team. The question of who will fill Mason McConnaughey’s position in the lineup was answered earlier in the week with Ty Horn given the nod to start Game 1.
To answer the question of what Big Red offense would show up, Coach Will Bolt put out yet another different lineup trying to find success. The biggest change was Tyler Stone getting the start at first base for the struggling Case Sanderson.
