Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook has been chosen to go into the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. He’ll be honored during a ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri, in December during the group’s convention and the NCAA Final Four.
The AVCA announced Monday that the 15th class of inductees will be Debbie Brown (former USC national champion and coach), Cecile Reynaud (former Florida State coach), Roseanne Wegrich (current Cal Poly Pomona coach) and Cook. Those four will make a total of 77 members in the Hall of Fame.
Next week Cook will begin his 18th season as Nebraska head coach.
