Nebraska Wesleyan captured a national title in the women's 4x400 relay Saturday, leading the Prairie Wolves to a fourth-place finish in the team standings at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
For the fourth time, the NWU women proved to be best in the event's closing event. The team of Anna Frazier, Elizabeth Jones, Aspen Rolfes and Kaylee Jones won in a time of 3 minutes, 47.06 seconds, edging Emory (3:48.45).
It was the second straight indoor championship for NWU's 4x400 relay team, and fourth overall, counting outdoor season. The Jones sisters have been part of all four.
