Nebraska already hosted a trio of four-star recruits before the weekend ever started and had another key junior day set for the weekend.
The youngest son of Ed and Lisa McCaffrey split time at starting at quarterback for Valor Christian High in Colorado and is in line to be the full-time starter as a senior. Ed, the former standout NFL receiver, is the new head coach at Valor Christian.
The Huskers welcomed McCaffrey and several other prospects -- four-star offensive lineman Danielson Ike (Kansas City)), seen after practice, cuts an imposing figure -- and put on quite the show.
