Freshman Taylor Christopulos adds another weekly honor after being named the NCAA Rookie of the Week for his impressive performance against Minnesota on Saturday, Feb. 13.
The Layton, Utah native, who was announced Big Ten Freshman of the Week Monday, earned two individual event titles at the home opener. Christopulos won the rings title with a score of 13.40 and the vault title with the nation's leading score this season, 14.95. Christopulos also finished with the third highest floor score (14.30) and fourth highest high bar score (13.35).
This is Christopulos's second weekly honor, and Nebraska's first NCAA Rookie of the Week honor since Griffin Kehler (1/20/18).
