Any way you slice it, it was a bold move.
Nebraska fifth-year senior Zach Sterup had never played guard in college until last Saturday night against Michigan State's strong front seven -- in the Huskers' 10th game of the season.
NU offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh said this week he wasn't sweating Sterup's move from his usual spot at right tackle.
"Well, Zach loves football, I know that," Cavanaugh said. "And he's a senior, so he's going to play his rear end off. I think he's really improved over the whole year. We just decided as a staff that he was playing well, and let's move him to guard.
