CARRIKER CHRONICLES: Mike Riley Era (So Far)

Adam Carriker played defensive end at Nebraska from 2002-2006, earning All-America and All Big-12 honors. He was drafted in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the St Louis Rams. He spent his first two years with the Rams, then was traded to the Washingon Redskins where he played three more years.

Coming into Lincoln, he was known for having approximately a .500 lifetime coaching record, and rising up and beating highly-ranked teams from time to time. The Huskers are currently 5-6, which means they will have their first season without nine wins since 2007.
