To say that Nebraska had a coming-out party on the offensive side of the ball against Wisconsin is an understatement. It didn’t look like the same team that could barely move the ball down the field with wide receivers locked down and predictable run plays gobbled up.
It just shows you the difference a top-level play-caller makes to an offense.
Signing day is just around the corner, and some genuinely program-changing players are still in the mix for Matt Rhule’s staff. One last impressive showing on Friday against Iowa could prove to be the difference in landing some of these players.
