Nebraska track and field senior Kevin Cahoy was named to the 2019-20 Google Cloud Academic All-America First Team and senior Luke Siedhoff was named to the Second Team on Thursday, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced. The awards move Nebraska's nation-leading All-America total to 340 all-time across all sports.
Cahoy, a Grand Island native, has a 3.99 GPA majoring in biological sciences and microbiology. He finished third in the pole vault at the 2020 Big Ten Indoor Championships with a personal-best clearance of 17-3 1/2 (5.27m).
A 2018-19 CoSIDA Second-Team All-American, Cahoy was also a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and academic All-Big Ten selection.
