It was almost the perfect night for baseball as the Nebraska baseball team returned to Frisco, Texas. 67 degrees with just a hint of a breeze coming in from right field at first pitch. A first pitch that was delayed as the first game of the Frisco Classic between #2 LSU and Kansas State went in to extra innings before the Tigers won 8-5.
Both Nebraska (3-4) and Sam Houston (2-6) were sitting at records they didn’t want or expect to be in at this point in the season. Both teams were looking to get this weekend started on the right foot with LSU and a red hot K-State team looming in the coming days.
