A sophomore outside linebacker, Dixon will not be with the program going forward, HuskerOnline.com reported Wednesday night. Dixon's next move wasn't immediately clear. He couldn't immediately be reached for comment.
The Ole Miss transfer came to Nebraska in January of 2018 and played in four games this past season, taking advantage of the NCAA's four-game redshirt rule.
Dixon joins senior punter Caleb Lightbourn as players who have left the Husker program since spring practice ended April 13.
