While the Reece’s Senior Bowl gets the most attention for the NFL Draft All Star Games, the East/West Shrine Bowl is in it’s 96th year and has featured the likes of Jimmy Garoppolo, Za’Darius Smith, Tom Brady, Lawrence Taylor and even Husker great Will Shields. The game allows NFL Scouts and General Managers a chance to watch the prospects face off against each other in practice drills with NFL level coaching.
Unfortunately because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the 2021 East/West Shrine Game will not be taking place. But the organization wanted to honor those prospects that would normally get invited for the success they’ve been having during their senior seasons.
