Future Husker Isabelle Bourne helped the Australian Gems to a 2-1 record in the group phase of the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Bangkok, Thailand earlier this week.
Bourne, a 6-2 forward from Canberra, Australia, closed pool play with 10 points and six rebounds in the Gems' 78-59 victory over Korea on Tuesday. Bourne hit 4-of-7 shots from the field and 2-of-3 free throws.
Her performance against Korea followed on the heels of a 15-point, three-rebound, three-assist effort in an 81-71 win over Hungary on Sunday. Bourne knocked down 4-of-10 shots from the floor while going 7-for-9 at the free throw line for Australia.
