Great news for the Nebraska Cornhuskers from the land of fried catfish and blues music!
The Huskers landed the commitment of Mississippi defensive back Lardarius Webb Jr. Tuesday evening. If you're an NFL fan you probably recognize his name. His father Lardarius Sr. played nine seasons in the NFL, all of them with the Baltimore Ravens, where he played cornerback and free safety.
This recruitment was largely carried out by Defensive Backs Coach Travis Fisher. The 5-foot-10 and 170 pound Webb plays at Jackson Academy in the state's capital Jackson, Mississippi.
