Boneyard Bash Welcomes 3,500 Students to Practice

Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska football team practiced in Memorial Stadium for 90 minutes in shoulder pads and shorts on Saturday evening.

Head Coach Mike Riley met with the media afterward to comment on the practice and to announce team captains and finalized true freshman who will see action in 2016.

Riley announced that team captains for the season are senior wide receiver Jordan Westerkamp, senior offensive lineman Dylan Utter, senior safety Nathan Gerry and senior linebacker Josh Banderas.

“I told them, the one thing that would happen here is there’s lots of choices,” Riley said.
