The Nebraska softball team went into the final series of the regular season with hopes of getting above .500 and hopes of maybe scratching its way to an NCAA Tournament berth.
The Huskers, however, came out on the wrong end of a three-game sweep against Purdue in West Lafayette, Indiana.
But after Monday's game, and with the Big Ten Tournament next, the captains addressed the team.
"They said it accurately. It's a new season," Nebraska coach Rhonda Revelle said. "Everybody goes into this tournament with a 0-0 record."
Considering the ups and downs of the 2017 season, the Huskers would gladly hit the reset button this week.
