In his first start at quarterback this season, J.T. Barrett threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more in a road rout of Rutgers. It’s the fifth time in his career he’s been responsible for at least five touchdowns in a game. Indiana’s Nate Sudfeld and Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon are the only other Big Ten players to accomplish that feat since the start of last season.
