For the second day in a row, Iowa went to the tenth inning before their fate was sealed. Yesterday against Michigan, they got beat because their pitcher could not throw the ball over the plate. Today, they got beat because two umpires absolutely screwed them over on an interference call that never should have been called, let alone confirmed on review. If Coach Rick Heller had been able to get to the second base umpire that made the initial call, I’m not sure there would have been anything left of the guy.
