The Big Ten is going to be playing a little more football on Friday nights, starting next year.
As first reported by the Chicago Tribune, the league's new television deal includes a package of six prime-time Friday games starting in 2017, with the broadcasts split between ESPN and Fox.
The specific games that to be played on Friday next season have not yet been announced, but may be known as early as this week.
At most, Nebraska would play one home game and one road game on a Friday night over the the course of the next three years.
