Nebraska and Creighton volleyball have met 22 times since 1980 and the Husker have won each of those meetings. That makes it sound like this is a sure win for Nebraska, but it is certainly not. In the last eight years, Creighton has made this a very interesting match by taking at least one of the sets and twice they took two.
The AVCA rankings, just released, moved Nebraska down three to #5 and moved Creighton up two spots to #9 so this just became a top 10 match up. Pittsburgh is the new #1, Stanford #2 and Texas moved down to #6.
