Derek Burkamper delivered a career high 7 strikeouts, while the Huskers avenged a shutout on Saturday with a shutout of their own.
After being blanked on Saturday by the Northwestern Wildcats, the Nebraska Baseball team made a loud statement with a dominating 11-0 win over the Wildcats. Ben Miller had a home run while Derek Burkamper delivered seven shutout innings for the Huskers.
After four singles in the second gave the Huskers a 2-0 lead, the Huskers would blow the game wide open in the third inning. Luis Alvarado would effectively put the game out of reach with a bases loaded double.
