Even when it comes to the Big Ten women's gymnastics championships, Nebraska coach Dan Kendig said.
"Bottom line, top to bottom, the highest ranked team in the conference is Michigan," Kendig said. "They took third at their B1G Five meet and we beat 'em here, so they're beatable. We're all beatable."
So while the championships are seeded based off the previous week's B1G Five results, Kendig recalled earlier this week how a few years ago Michigan came out of the early session of lower seeds to emerge as team champions.
No. 12 Nebraska (15-3, 7-2 Big Ten) will compete in Saturday's afternoon session as one of the top seeds along with Michigan, Michigan State, regular-season conference champion Minnesota, Ohio State and Penn State.
