Scott Frost and his new Nebraska coaching staff have been on full-time duty in Lincoln since capping a 13-0 season at Central Florida on Monday.
As such, it seems a natural time to look at the roster that staff is now getting familiar with.
Since Frost’s hire Dec. 2, NU has added 12 signees and lost two underclassmen — quarterback Tanner Lee and left tackle Nick Gates — to the NFL Draft process. That puts the Huskers at 77 scholarship players as of Jan. 6 by the Journal Star’s count.
NU coaches are communicating with recruits during the dead period, and the next rounds of visits will ramp up after Jan.
