“My plan is to return to Nebraska,” Harris told the Journal Star Wednesday. “Start on my (knee) rehab and be back before workouts start.”
Of the three players mentioned above, Harris was the statistical leader while averaging 2.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in 23 games. Thorbjarnarson averaged 2.0 points and 2.1 rebounds in 25 games, while Heiman averaged 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 30 games. Harris and Heiman battled illness and injury much of the season.
Graduate transfers Haanif Cheatham and Matej Kavas, and juco guard Cam Mack, are all immediately eligible, and NU will add transfer guard Dachon Burke and redshirt freshman guard Karrington Davis to the mix as well.
