Nebraska's Brenna Ochoa (28) fights for the ball with Pittsburgh's Sarah Krause earlier this month at Hibner Stadium.
KAYLA WOLF, JOURNAL STARIt’s been an unexpectedly long break for the Nebraska soccer team, but it might not have been too restful or relaxing.
The Huskers were forced to postpone a trip to Iowa last week when several players missed time due to illness, so when they hit the pitch on Friday against Ohio State, they will have had a 12-day hiatus from game action.
The break is an oddity in an otherwise grueling college soccer season, but the Huskers have used the time to refocus on the team’s ultimate goals moving forward.
