Lincoln Southeast's Bryson Williams (72) is congratulated by teammate Beau Panzer (11) after scoring a second half touchdown against Lincoln Southwest on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at Seacrest Field.
FRANCIS GARDLER, JOURNAL STAROn Saturday afternoon — following Central Florida's AAC Championship Game win against Memphis — LSE senior Bryson Williams received a call. On the other end of the line was Barrett Ruud, a former Southeast Knight and, at the moment, UCF's quality-control administrator.
Ruud, who is expected to coach linebackers at NU, wanted to stop by Williams' house Sunday night, and the state's most-popular person at the moment — Scott Frost — was going to tag along.
