The Nebraska volleyball team has made it a point to dominate in-state recruiting early and often, and Tuesday night was just another example of how much sway the defending national champions pull in this state.
Soon-to-be Lincoln North Star freshman Bekka Allick. a 6-foot-3 middle blocker/outside hitter, committed to the Huskers late Tuesday night.
She’s the younger sister of former North Star Super-State middle blocker Sarah Allick, who committed to Nebraska during her sophomore season of high school in 2014 but never became a Husker. Bekka Allick plays her club volleyball for vcNebraska.
“It just seemed like the right time for me,” Allick told the Journal Star.
